Torream ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Torream Android application.
Information We Do Not Collect
Torream does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or account information
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Media files or content you play or download
- Browsing or usage history sent to our servers
Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us:
- Playback history and watch progress
- Downloaded files and torrent sessions
- Playlists and favorites
- App preferences and settings
Third-Party Services
Torream may include third-party advertising SDKs (Google AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Vungle) that may collect certain data to serve ads. These services have their own privacy policies:
Network Requests
Torream makes network requests only to URLs and streams that you explicitly provide or open. The app does not make background connections to our servers. DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) may be used to resolve domain names securely.
Permissions
Torream requests the following Android permissions:
- Internet — to stream and download media from URLs you provide
- Read/Write Storage — to access and save media files
- Notifications — to show download progress
- Foreground Service — for background downloads and audio playback
Children's Privacy
Torream is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
